OVERVIEW
In 2024, I joined the social media team at EA Sports.
My role primarily focused on creating content for two premier video game titles -Madden and College Football.
MADDEN NFL 25
From ideation to production, I heavily contributed to the online presence of Madden.
GAME CAPTURE CONTENT
Using captured images and videos from the game, our goal was to tell creative and relevant stories that insert Madden into the conversation of sports, media, and culture.
PLAYER RATINGS UPDATES
With the intention to encourage gameplay and connect NFL fans to Madden, we boosted individual player ratings in our video game based on positive performances throughout the NFL season.
PLAY OF THE WEEK
In collaboration with the NFL, we used broadcast footage and Madden gameplay to produce a weekly series that highlights some of the top plays throughout the season.
HEAD TO HEAD MATCHUPS
Each week, we used game capture images and player ratings from Madden to create comparison graphics that display head to head NFL matchups.
X-FACTORS AND SUPERSTARS
We designed various graphics to showcase new abilities and updates for NFL athletes.
MADDEN BOWL
During Super Bowl weekend, we hosted an exclusive event to wrap up the season. As celebrities and athletes entered the venue, they were given the chance to play Madden against Sketch, a popular gaming influencer.
ROOKIE PREMIERE
Prior to NFL season kickoff, we caught up with some of the upcoming rookies to create engaging social content.
PRO BOWL VOTING
In collaboration with the NFL, we used game capture images to promote the Pro Bowl and encourage NFL fans to submit their votes.
INTERNATIONAL MATCHUPS
In collaboration with the NFL, we used game capture images to promote a few international matchups.
99 CLUB
Only a handful of players reach 99 Overall in Madden (the highest rating possible).
During the 2024-25 NFL season, three individuals made it into the 99 Club:
Lamar Jackson, Derrick Henry, and Justin Jefferson
Our social team turned these moments into a celebration as we acknowledgement the selected athletes and their success on the field.
RATINGS ADJUSTOR RECAPS
We partnered with NFL legends Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson and Marshawn Lynch to attend various NFL games and adjust athlete Madden ratings based on performances.
NFL DRAFT COMBINE
During the NFL Draft Combine, we documented the process of athletes getting their bodies scanned to become playable characters in Madden 26.
